Over 80 thousand artifacts – a testament of the peoples and cultures from every part of the world – are on exhibit in the new Anima Mundi Museum, previously known as the Ethnological Museum of the Vatican Museums. An exhibit hall with open doors, without barriers, directed outward, it overturns the traditional idea of ‘museum’ and ‘conservation’.
